The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship will return to Donington Park on 25-27 May 2018 for the series' only UK round.
Retaining its traditional late May date, the weekend will again feature two World Superbike races as well as a full international support race package including World Supersport, World Supersport 300 and Superstock 1000, plus a number of top national championships.
Donington Park was the venue for the first ever round of World Superbikes in 1988, and has since held 25 events. With ever-increasing levels of entertainment added around the venue, the UK round has become established as one of the most family-friendly weekends of the season.
This year's event saw Tom Sykes break the record for the most consecutive wins at the same circuit with nine (stretching back to the 2013 event), after he won the weekend's opening race, though his stranglehold was finally broken when three time champion Jonathan Rea took the honours in the second encounter, making up for a dramatic burst tyre in the opening race.
Donington Park will host races 11 and 12 in the 26 race calendar, which will see the series visit Australia, Thailand, The Netherlands, Italy, the USA, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, France, Argentina and Qatar, with the full calendar shown below.
